CLC Draw CS 4010 H is a chlorine-free, non-corrosive,
extreme pressure lubricant, which is specially formulated for drawing
steel wire. The Boundary film formed between the die and the wire
reduces friction and minimizes welding, scoring and galling.
|
- Versatile, use for drawing prior to heading or for high speed redrawing
- Exceptionally bright, clean surface on drawn wire
- Consistent lubricating film improves surface finish on drawn wire
- Replaces powder lubricants which may contaminate
lube systems in heading operations
- Will not separate in storage or in use
- High affinity for metal allows excellent wetting
of mechanically descaled wire
- In liquid state: no dusting, no waste
- Small amount left on wire can be easily cleaned off
- Forms a lubricating film with the consistency of a semi-fluid grease which eliminates channeling

CLC Draw WDM 596 is the newest product for drawing uncoated stainless steel wire. Its unique blend of extreme pressure additives enables the lubricant to form a boundary layer between the wire and the die even at the high temperatures and pressures sustained during the drawing operation.
|
- Highly Versatile (use for machining and forming)
- Used to draw uncoated stainless steel prior to heading
- Exceptionally bright, clean surface finish of drawn wire
- Consistent lubricating film improves surface finish of drawn wire
- Reduces friction which reduces generation of heat thus extending die life
- Eliminates need for copper-coated stainless steel wire
- Will not separate while in storage
- Does not deposit a plastic film on wire
- High affinity for metal allows excellent wetting of mechanically descaled wire
- In liquid state; no dusting, no waste
- Small amount of product left on wire can be easily removed
- Forms a lubricating film with the consistency of a semi-fluid grease which eliminates channeling
