This Specification is for a compounded heavy medium oil for machine tool slideways. A non-corrosive additive is used to provide anti-stick-slip characteristics.

This Lubricant has all the general qualities and properties required to insure its satisfactory performance as a machine tool slideway lubricant.

Note: CLC Lube is equal in viscosity to Mobil Vactra #2.

CLC Lube Way Clear 68 is blended with a high quality, severely hydrotreated mineral oil specially compounded to eliminate "stick-slip" (ie. jumpy table). It is non-corrosive with excellent metal wetting, extreme pressure qualities and a completely soluble, Bijur- approved tackiness additive.
