CLC Clean WR 5 spray cleaner is a highly alkaline, spray washer cleaner for use on all ferrous metals. It is designed to remove drawing and extruding compounds, cutting oils, water soluble coolants, stamping compounds, waxy rust inhibitors and quench oils completely and freely from iron and steel parts prior to further production. It is free rinsing and will produce a water break free surface. It is ideal for cleaning prior to phosphatizing.

CLC Clean WR 5 has some unique properties above and beyond a normal alkaline cleaner. It passes the cast iron chip test at 80 to 1 meaning it has extremely good rust protection properties. Its extremely low foaming tendencies allows it to be used in high-pressure parts washers. It can be used at temperatures as high as 200F. without breaking down. It is manufactured with de-ionized water to insure that there are no hard water minerals in the product. This helps to eliminate water spotting when used in conjunction with deionized water in the wash tank.
