Carb "O" Grind - Premium Grinding Oils

CARB "O" GRIND NB1206

CLC Lubricants has formulated CARB "O" GRIND NB1206 to address one of the most difficult Grinding operations, (Carbide Grinding)

Carb-O-Grind NB1206 is formulated with a non-cobalt leaching amine, biologically resistant rust preventive soaps, a proprietary synthetic antiwear agent, nonferrous corrosion inhibitor, and biocide to give optimum carbide grinding performance. The antiwear agent has inverse temperature water solubility such that it plates out to lubricate the grinding interface and defoam. Below the grinding temperature it returns to solution in the sump.

In Carbide grinding, there are many factors to consider. With the use of Super Abrasive Wheels, there is a tremendous amount of heat that can be generated to the work piece. This heat is usually responsible for the premature wear of the Grinding wheel, and can directly affect the surface finish and integrity of the work piece. CARB "O" GRIND NB1206 addresses this concern with the following additional benefits.

  Carb O Grind

  • Longer Wheel Life
  • Low heat build up on the work piece
  • Excellent in high speed grinding operations
  • High lubricity
  • No Cobalt leaching
  • Faster cycle times
  • Very low smoke (if any)
  • Chlorine + Sulfer Free
